Urinating Frequency
We urinate to eliminate toxins from our body. Urinating frequency means to urinate more then usual or more often then you are use to. It is an urge or a sudden compelling need to urinate and can be accompanied by some discomfort in the bladder.
A need to urinate more at night can be a condition known as nocturia. However drinking a lot in the evening can cause urinating frequency as well but it must be looked into regardless so that a urinary track infection can be ruled out. The most common reasons for urinating frequency can be attributed to diabetes, pregnancy and prostate problems.
Many of the other reasons for frequent urination are as follows: anxiety, BPH, bladder cancer, congestive heart failure, cystocoele, diabetes insipidus, fibromyalgia, interstitialcysts, multiple myeloma, overactive bladder, prostate cancer, urinary incontinence, and urinary track infections as mentioned above.
Depending if your sex is male or female and if you are elderly there are at least 20 more reasons not mentioned here. You must call your doctor right away if you have fever, back and side pain, vomiting and shaking accompanied by chills are other signs along with the urinating frequency. Other reasons to see your doctor are for incontinence, if the urinating frequency has altered your lifestyle, you have cloudy or blood in the urine or there is discharge from the penis or vagina.
This is one of the toughest articles I have written because of the many reasons for urinating frequency. It is impossible for me to write explanations and symptoms for all of the reasons listed above because I am only permitted to write so many words in an article. What I can’t stress enough though is that is important to call or go and see your doctor if you are urinating frequently or more then usual, so that a major or serious problem can be treated or taken care of.
Early prevention is the key for many of the illnessor diseases we suffer. Technology has come a long way now and in most cases the urinating frequency will end once taken care of.
